“Euphoria: Improv Level 2” teaches students key characteristics of long-form improvisation that make up Revelry Theater’s core philosophy. First and foremost, that improvisation is an opportunity to be absolutely euphoric about what you can create on stage. Love and be empowered by what you, and only you, bring to each scene! Second, that being mindful and paying attention to absolutely everything that’s happening now is the only way to blend your unique voice into a team ensemble. Our goal is that you’ll be excited about initiating/entering any scene and feel exhilarated about all the choices you and your scene partner(s) make. We will also start to plant the seeds of thinking about improvisation as a process for creation (e.g., using improv as a tool for writing).
Dates: Tuesdays for 6 weeks starting March 26 at 7-9:30pm. Class show on Friday May 3 at 8pm.
Prerequisites: Completion of Level 1 at any improv theater. Must be 18 years or older.
